Eileen McClory is the artistic director of Off the Rails DanceTheatre.

Eileen graduated from form Liverpool John Moore’s University with a BA (hons) Dance Studies: Performance and Choreography in 2004. She furthered her training at Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) New York, completing a 1 year Professional Training Program and a 1 year International VISA Program, having had the privilege to be mentored by Oliver Steele (Steeledance Company). Eileen performed and choreographed in two of DNA’s unique Choreolab programs.

As an established dance artist Eileen has performed in the UK, France and New York and has received commissions by Crescent Arts Centre and Feile an Phobail.  She is the founder of the Crescent Elderflowers Dance Theatre, a company of women 55+.

As a facilitator Eileen has worked with Creative Youth Partnerships, MT4Uth and Maiden Voyage Dance Company. She is currently a lecturer at Belfast Metropolitan College. Eileen continues to expand her dancing and performance skills by training in vertical dance and aerial silks. Eileen’s innovative work involves collaborations with different art form’s, she is currently working on with a dance installation with composer Greg Caffrey and is in rehearsals for Off the Rails new work ‘Censored’ with interactive artist Liam Donaghy.
